Wanted: Full-time Network Developer

At Travelping we’re continuously looking to add new talent to our growing team. We design, develop and operate carrier-grade network solutions for customers all over the world. We’re currently hiring two (2) full-time network developers for our locations in Berlin and Magdeburg.

Job Profile

As a network developer in Travelping you will design and implement state-of-the-art network functions using the latest technology. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Taking technical responsibility for parts of our tools and products
• Collaboration with both internal colleagues and open source communities
• Continuously improving the quality and performance of our products while implementing new features
• Ensuring standards compliance of our product line

Your Profile

• You cannot resist to put your own firmware on every device you get your hands on
• You run a sophisticated router at home — not beacuse you need to, but just because you can
• You are experienced with the network protocol stack, both in theory and practice
• You are following the ongoing development of networking technologies
• You don’t need Wikipedia to know the meaning of SDN, RADIUS, AAA, 3GPP, nftables, IPv6, QoS
• You participate in open source projects and are experienced in using their tools and workflows
• Linux kernel and programming experience in C, C++, and Erlang are highly welcome
• You like challenges in an agile environment but are still able to work according to standard engineering practices and finish tasks on time
• You are a team player and have good communication skills
