Holger Winkelmann – CEO
Holger is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Travelping. He is an expert in distributed systems and OpenFlow technology. With twenty years management experience in the telecommunication and networking industry, Holger drives forward Travelping’s innovative product and service portfolio. Before founding Travelping, Holger was Managing Director of a cable & wireless subsidiary.
Tino Breddin – CTO
As Chief Technology Officer, Tino Breddin directs Travelping’s technical strategy, roadmap, research and product development. Tino joined Travelping from Erlang Solutions Ltd, where as a senior systems engineer, he led the company’s participation in EU research projects focused on dealing with scalability bottlenecks for next generation distributed systems. He was also involved in projects dealing with real-time payments, trading, large-scale messaging and data processing.
Before working for Erlang Solutions Ltd, Tino worked in distributed systems research at SAP Research. His work on distributed rule engines, scalable semantic text analysis and event processing has given him a broad and in-depth understanding of distributed systems. Tino graduated from the University of Technology Dresden with a Diploma in Media and Computer Science.
